Seasonality has always been a major source of menu inspiration at Virtuous Pie. As we head into fall, we’re excited to add some new flavours and ingredients to our core menu and introduce some limited time specials too.

Pumpkin Pie + Pecan Ice Cream

Made from a coconut base, this seasonal favourite combines pumpkin puree, brown sugar, maple syrup, and spices, with pecans folded throughout.

Brussel Sprout Slaw

Shaved Brussel Sprouts, Carrot, Red Onion, Dried Cranberries, Feta, Pistachios, Bacon Bits, Miso Tahini Vinaigrette. Think of this as a warm up to your Thanksgiving dinner.

Portland October Feature

Get a taste of New England with our Portland October feature: Clam Chowder Pizza. Don’t let it fool you, this pizza is 100% plant-based, using seasonal ingredients to replicate the flavors of a classic clam chowder.

CLAM CHOWDER PIZZA | $15

Bianca Sauce, Sautéed Hearts of Palm, Roasted Potatoes, Crispy Pancetta, Old Bay Cashew Cream Drizzle, Parsley, Crushed Oyster Crackers.

Available only in Portland for the month of October.

Vancouver Limited Time Feature

If you haven’t heard, (well first of all, where have you been?) we’ve been offering a limited time Chorizo + Potato special in Vancouver for the past two weeks. And if you’re lucky, it looks like we’ve got about two more weeks of it in the forecast!

Rustic and natural with a herbed potato cream base, it’s topped with seasoned kale, caramelized onions, charred chorizo, our signature cashew mozzarella, and house-made arugula + walnut pesto. Ask for a gluten free crust to make it gluten friendly!

Vegan Grant | Round 3!

The time has come for the last round of our Vegan Grant program for 2019. We’re giving away $1000 in each of our communities to 3 plant-based pioneers to support their business ventures.

HOW IT WORKS:

  • Nominate yourself, or nominate a friend.
  • What we want to know: who you are, what you’re doing, and why you’re doing it.
  • Our teams will vote on their 3 favourites; one in Vancouver, one in Portland, and one in Toronto
  • We will start accepting submissions on Monday, October 7th (you’ll be able to submit your nomination here)
  • You have until Friday, October 18th to submit your nomination
  • Winners will be announced on Friday, October 25th
