Our Vancouver grand opening party was celebrated by a collective of community, friends, family and local partners who welcomed Virtuous Pie to the neighbourhood.
Vancouver, meet Virtuous Pie.
On September 10th, 2016, Virtuous Pie officially opened its doors in Vancouver BC’s Chinatown, inviting the community to experience and enjoy the delights of 100% plant-based pizza and ice cream.
In just the first week, we were positively overwhelmed and overjoyed to see Vancouver’s pizza-heads (patiently) line up around the block for some ‘za – so much so that we were left with no choice but to close early twice, due to going through three days worth of dough in one day! (that’s about 600 pizzas in one day).
Three weeks later, once we were past the point of seeing spinning pizzas in our sleep, we decided to celebrate with a proper pizza party! We were stoked to have some of our favourite community members, new customers, and partners there to toast to the beginning of what we hope to be a new Vancouver favorite spot to eat, drink, hang, create and connect with old and new friends!
