A pizza feature, wine special, and ice cream samples – those are just a few of the things we have coming your way this August.


Nothing says summer like fresh peaches – and if you haven’t tried them on a pizza, now is your chance! This August, our ‘Peaches + Mole Verde’ pizza features local Maryhill peaches plus a local Sunflower-Oat ‘Cotija’ from our friends at Cheesa Flyy. Combined with a garlic oil base, red onion, pancetta, and mole verde, it’s sweet, savory, and refreshing all at the same time.

“A cheese addict in a previous life, I found myself dissatisfied with the market choice alternatives for dairy, after committing to a plant-based lifestyle. This is when I began researching traditional methods of cheesemaking–and comparing them to their non-dairy counterparts.

After dabbling with fermentation of vegetables, I learned that nuts and seeds can be cultured similarly to dairy, so I started making real cheese from plants. I hope to convince folks that they are not missing out on any culinary experience, by omitting animal products.

Striving for sustainability, my focus is on utilizing alternatives to cashews whenever possible. Oats, sunflower seeds, and even beans– all are excellent bases for cultured cheese.” – Lisa Fliege, Owner


Starting Wednesday, August 7th, we’re introducing Wine Wednesdays in Toronto! This means half price bottles when you dine in – all day long. We’ve partnered with local wineries like Creekside, Sandbanks, and Peller Estate to bring you a wide selection of whites, reds, and rose. Whether you pair a bottle with your favourite pie or scoop, or enjoy it on its own, it’s the perfect way to get out and break up your week.

Did someone say free ice cream??

This August, UBC is hosting an International baseball tournament from August 13-18 with Keio University (Japan), University of Tokyo, and Sacramento State University. The games will be held at Tourmaline West Stadium on the UBC campus, just a few minutes from Virtuous Pie Wesbrook Village, and will feature a beer garden, food trucks, and samples. That’s where we come in – we’ll be handing out ice cream samples from Wednesday through Saturday. So come say hey, and try some of our summer flavours!
