MAKING OUR WAY TO THE 6IX
It was only a matter of time before we landed on the east coast, and we can’t wait to put our roots down in Toronto! In the heart of College Street, we’re thrilled to bring our plant-based, Italian-inspired fare to the vibrant and unique neighbourhood of Little Italy. Construction is well underway, and we’ll be opening our doors this Fall 2018!
IF YOU DON’T KNOW, NOW YOU KNOW
We are on a mission to start a movement that changes the way people eat by bringing sustainable addicting food to the masses, that is fast, healthy, affordable, and always delicious.
To do this, we conceive, create, and serve a chef-driven plant based menu, focused on pizza and ice cream, with innovative addicting flavours, in a design led and locally inspired fast-casual restaurant.
We handcraft our house made pizzas, nut-based cheeses, and small batch ice creams, with each flavour being deeply considered so it stands confidently on our menus – without the need for substitutions – with its own vision to achieve great taste while using sustainable and locally sourced ingredients where available. And – we have partnered with some like-minded third party partners, seen throughout our curated beverage program including our personal favourite cold pressed juice, kombucha, wines and beers.
OUR NEW HOME
Set in a historic neighbourhood that has evolved over the years, our new location will reflect the consistent inconsistency of design that gives Little Italy its character and charm. In an area so rich in layered history, we hope to connect with the vibrant culture the neighbourhood is known for, which we feel lucky to be a part of.
Inspired by the blending of old and new, we’ve brought these elements into our design through the use of mixed materials. From brushed brass and charred wood to layered stone and monochrom tiles, our approach pays homage to the original historic building we are in.
Ready to kick back and relax? We’re stoked to be partnering with local designers like Average to bring both design and function to the space, while also commissioning custom tables and chairs. And of course no Virtuous Pie would be complete without our signature greenery, because we’re all about #ThatPlantLife.
We’re excited to introduce our largest tap offering yet, with 12 taps featuring local beer, wine, and kombucha. As well as our handcrafted, plant-based pizzas and ice cream, our Toronto menu will feature some exclusive new items! We can’t wait to share these with you, so follow our Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for updates!
Want to rep our swag? Our apparel and merchandise will be available for purchase in store. From canvas bags and growlers to crewnecks and embroidered tees, we’ve partnered with several local businesses to bring you high quality, unique and sustainable goods.
