Counter Server – Virtuous Pie, Plant-Based Pizza

We are an elevated fast-casual restaurant with a focus on great taste, innovation, and surprise that extends from our product to customer service to the design of our space.

WHO YOU ARE 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Act as the guest’s first point of contact with the restaurant.  
• Take orders confidently and manage guests’ expectations during peak times of service.  
• Have a working knowledge of the food and drink menus to support the guest experience.  
• Learning and maintain a knowledge of common food allergens to guide guests through the menu. 
• Preparation of non-alcoholic, alcoholic drinks, and house-made soft drinks.  
• Preparation of salads for dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders.  
• Scooping house-made individual ice cream orders.  
• Organizing delivery orders for pickup by drivers. 
• Maintain a clean and safe dining room and workspace to meet or exceed all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.  
• Ringing through orders, use of the POS systems, and cash handling. 
• Answering phone calls. 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

• Personal alignment with Virtuous Pie’s vision, values, and team culture is considered an asset.  
• Passion for delivering superior levels of guest experience and hospitality.  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and inter-functional team environments, as well as independently.  
• Strong communication skills.  
• High standard for professionalism and attention to detail.  
• Ability to prioritize and multitask daily duties to ensure an efficient and cohesive work environment.  
• Enthusiasm for upholding a clean environment.  
• Must be able to stand/work on your feet for 8-hour shifts. 
• Must be able to use ladders and step stools safely. 
• Eagerness to create positive, long-lasting, and professional relationships with team members, and guests.
