NEW SUMMER 2019 MENU

Summer is coming, and so is our new menu!

As it heats up, we naturally crave lighter and more refreshing flavours. With this in mind, our culinary team has designed a new summer menu to satisfy those cravings – coming Wednesday, June 26th!

“Summer is always exciting as it means seasonal change, and a change in what is fresh and available,” says Jim Vesal, Director of Culinary. “This year we are headlining one of our biggest menu rollouts by launching three new pizzas, a new and updated Margherita and the return of a classic.

“Our Street Corn pizza is a smoky and fresh combination of charred corn, fresh lime and cilantro, while our spicy Sausage and Pepper pizza, brings together savory house made Italian sausage and our signature hot honey,” says Jim.  “We went eastwards with our Saffron Rose Water ice cream, combining the floral flavours with pistachios for a great treat on hot summer days.”

If you’ve been with us since last year, you may remember the popular Pesto CBR pizza. We were sad to remove it last fall due to sourcing issues, but we are stoked to announce – it’s BACK, BABY! Now made with Tofurkey chicken, the Pesto CBR will be making its comeback in Vancouver and being introduced in Portland and Toronto.

The Pizza lineup:

Mac + Cheeza:

Our House-made Mac, Cheddar Cream, Cashew Mozzarella, Feta, Spice Mix, Parsley

Sweet Pepper + Sausage:

San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Cashew Mozzarella, Spicy House-made Sausage Crumble, Red Peppers + Onions, Hot Honey

Pesto CBR:

Bianca Sauce, Pesto Chicken, Chili Broccoli, Sun Dried Tomatoes, Cashew Mozzarella topped with Bacon, Ranch Drizzle, Arugula

Street Corn Pizza:

Garlic Paprika Butter, Charred Corn, Feta, Cashew Mozzarella, Cilantro Lime Crema, Fresh Cilantro + Lime

NEW MARGHERITA PIZZA:

San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Cashew Mozzarella, Olive Oil, Parmesan, Shredded Basil

 

SUCCOTASH SALAD:

Charred Sweet Corn, Edamame, Red Onion + Pepper, Fresh Parsley, Bacon Vinaigrette

ICE CREAM FLAVOURS

SAFFRON Rose Water

A plant-based take on the Persian ‘Bastani sannoti,’ saffron lends this ice cream its vibrant yellow hue. With a creamy coconut and cashew base, pistachios folded throughout, and a subtle hint of rose water, this one’s as flavourful as it is colourful.

Salted Caramel + Chocolate Pretzel

A vanilla base swirled with salted caramel and chunks of pretzels and dark chocolate, it’s sweet, salty, crunchy, and creamy.

Thai Tea

No nuts, no problem! Inspired by the refreshing Thai iced drink, our Thai Tea ice cream has a coconut milk base and is completely nut free.

Chocolate

Simple, classic, and requested by many – our creamy and decadent chocolate ice cream is made from a coconut and cashew base.
