As we continue to grow, we’ve got lots of exciting initiatives in the works! To make sure that you know what’s up, we’re introducing a blog update at the start of each month. Everything from new product launches and menu features to events and holidays – you’ll find it here. Plus, we’ll also share a few highlights from the month before!
First up, things are about to get real basic… we welcomed back our Pumpkin Pie ice cream at all three locations on October 2nd! Using our house-made cashew milk base, we fold in classic fall spices of cinnamon, cloves, ginger and nutmeg. Then we mix in our homemade gluten free graham crust.
Too cold for ice cream? Try it in an affogato: a scoop of Pumpkin Pie ice cream topped with a freshly brewed shot of espresso, aka a makeshift pumpkin spice latte!
From October 15th to 20th, Portland Mercury is hosting their annual VegWeek. A week designed for Portlanders to enjoy some of the best and most innovative dishes Portland restaurants have to offer, we’re stoked to be participating for the second year in a row.
How it works: each restaurant creates an exclusive plant-based menu item to be featured over the six days, and you get to enjoy it for half price!
If you couldn’t already tell, we’re all about comfort food this fall. So it should come as no surprise that our chefs have concocted up a Mac N Cheeza – that’s right, a mac and cheese pizza. Cheddar Sauce and Elbow Mac, Cashew Mozzarella, Ricotta, Grated Parmesan, Parsley, and Black Pepper, this pie takes it to the next level by combining the two comfort food classics.
On the weekend of October 20th and 21st, we’ll be popping up at Portland VegFest! From notable speakers and presentations to food vendors and cooking demos, VegFest is an opportunity to connect with the community, grow, and learn about plant-based eating – all while sampling delicious plant-based food!
Our exclusive menu will feature the Mac N Cheeza, BLT pizza, DRY Soda, and Happy Mountain Kombucha. Visit us on Saturday October 20th from 10am to 6pm or Sunday October 21st from 10am to 5pm at the Oregon Convention Center!
If you haven’t heard, we’re making our way to the east coast this fall – in Toronto! We’re planting our roots in the heart of Little Italy, at 611 College Street. Construction is wrapping up, we’ve hired some awesome team members, and we can’t wait to open our doors.
From adding the virtuous touch to the space to securing those final permits, we’re down to the final steps and will be open before you know it! Stay tuned on our social for the official announcement, and learn more about our newest location here.

Fall ’18 Menu Launch

On September 10th, our flagship Chinatown location turned 2! We are so thankful for our incredible community who continues to support us on the daily. We wouldn’t be here without you!

Last week, we were featured on CTV Morning Live where our chef Matt Blandy showed viewers how to make our plant-based cheese from scratch. Plus, if you didn’t know already, you can pick up a wheel of our Lemon-Herb Chevre and Tofu Feta at our Wesbrook Village location every Friday to Sunday!
